Hi Dan,
At first glance, it appears that your site is fairly
well organized. You have a lot of choices for navigation on the
homepage i.e. top links, top header nav, and left hand navigation. That
is a lot of navigation to choose from right at the start and may
overwhelm a user trying to decide where to go.
In addition to
that, you have a lot of images on your site; they practically dominate
the homepage above the fold. This isn’t very good from an SEO
perspective and also can impact your page load times for users on
different internet speeds. Consider losing some of the images that are
not necessary and optimizing or resizing some of the existing images
that you feel need to stay on there. A cool tool that you should use is
the web page analyzer. It will give you some feedback on your site.
I
am confused by the very top bar of images across the top of your site.
I don’t think that adds or does anything to enhance your homepage and
it actually makes it look kind of like an affiliate marketing website.
Lastly,
the links at the very bottom – those are good links to have for SEO
value, but I am curious why do you have links to “nfl news and the
latest religion news”? That is very confusing to me and I don’t
understand the point.
I do like the layout of your product
pages. It is organized well for the various options that you provide a
user when purchasing jewelry.
Hope that helps.
