Prevent identity theft

I am sure everyone is aware identity theft is a major crime in the US and the impacts of what it can do to your life.  I was watching my local news last week and they did a segment on how you can easily protect your credit and prevent identity theft in the future.  Its called a a Security Freeze and for a small fee all three credit bureaus, Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax will place a freeze on your credit report preventing anyone that you have not allowed from accessing it.  If you want more information here are the links to the all three credit bureaus:

Thanks for forwarding this useful information. Because of the current economy down trend, many people are loosing their livelihood means and are adopting such illegal means to earn. So, such incidents will be on rise in the future. The best way is to keep all the codes and secrets safe from strangers. It is the time to be smart enough.
